The boring-but-important page

The short version: we collect your email address if you give it to us, we use it to send you the book and occasional updates about it, and we don't sell it or share it with anyone. That's the whole business model — you, us, and a book.
What we collect
One thing: your email address, and only when you type it into the Chapter 1 form yourself. We don't run ads, we don't use tracking pixels, and we don't buy or sell data. Our hosting provider collects standard server logs — like IP addresses — to keep the site running and prevent abuse, as any host does.
What we do with it
Send you Chapter 1, news about the full book's launch, and occasional ideas in the spirit of the book. Nothing else. Every email includes a way to unsubscribe, and unsubscribing works the first time.
Where it lives
Your email is stored securely with the service providers that run this site. If those providers ever change, your address moves with the same rules: used only for this, shared with no one.
Your choices
Want your email deleted entirely? Send a note to hello@youalreadyknow.ink and it's gone. No hoops, no "are you sure" sequence.
Third parties
This site relies on a small number of standard service providers to stay online. Links to Instagram and Threads go to Meta's platforms, which have their own privacy policies once you're there.
Changes
If this policy ever changes in a way that matters, we'll say so plainly on this page — not bury it in legalese.
